Stadiums are becoming destinations in their own right, bringing sport, entertainment and tourism together. A match or concert can inspire a whole trip, with fans booking hotels, dining locally and exploring nearby attractions. This is the opportunity behind the ticket-stub economy: connecting event attendance with a wider visitor experience and spending across the destination.

At TheTicketingBusiness Asia 2026 in Hong Kong (13 to 15 October), we joined industry peers to exchange ideas about how ticketing can support the wider consumer experience. Our team included Sam Liu (Founder & Managing Partner), Joseph Lee (Partner & General Manager, Hong Kong & Macau) and Eric Tsang (Key Account Director).

Representing AnTank, Joseph joined YC Chia (Founder & MD, Ticket2U) and Kaz Shimada (CEO, ZAIKO) for “The Ticketing Town Hall: Platforms and Product Roadmaps across genres, cultures and markets.” They explored in depth how platforms can serve APAC’s diverse audiences, including adapting to local payment preferences and digital channels while meeting regional data privacy requirements.

Joseph also highlighted how AnTank’s white-label ticketing platform empowers clients in developing the ticket-stub economy. By putting customer data ownership back in operators' hands, we help venues engage visitors before they arrive, deliver richer experiences on event day, and incentivise return visits long after the event ends.

Our sincere thanks to Ian Nuttall and the Xperiology team for hosting such an outstanding conference, as well as our fellow panelists and partners. We look forward to collaborating across APAC to drive long-term value for fans, venues, and local commercial ecosystems.
